Natural Off White 100% Corriedale Wool Roving
Raised and Processed in Wisconsin

We have found this wool easier to learn on for beginning spinners. The commercially prepared tops with the ironed-out crimp feel slippery by comparison. This roving is full of life and energy, and a real joy to spin.

Sold by the half pound (8 ounces).

Staple length of individual fibers in this roving is approximately 3.5 inches. This is carded roving, not top. There will be a little bit of vegetative matter (sheep have to eat, too!) and some small neps, a characteristic of fine wool that has not been combed or pin-drafted. It *will* have some texture. This is real wool roving with all the bounce and crimp intact.

We do our best to represent the color, but monitors and screens do vary. This is an off-white (ecru) roving from a small local flock of Corriedale sheep.
