Description

Large Yarn Guide/WPI Tool

Spinner’s control cards/Wraps per Inch tool with guidelines for various weights of finished yarns, including fingering, sport, DK, worsted and bulky. Includes a Wraps per Inch tool (measured over 2 inches), along with guides for the approximate width of each weight of yarn.

Made of a 1/4 inch Maple, Cherry or aromatic Cedar veneer hardwood plywood.

To calculate the approximate weight of your finished yarn, wrap the yarn comfortably (not tightly, but not too loosely) in between the 0 and 2 and divide the total number of wraps by 2. Compare your WPI to the WPI guidelines listed on the spinners control card.

Small Yarn Guide/WPI Tool

Simple WPI (Wraps per inch) Tool – pre-drilled with “keychain” holes on two corners, so it is easy to hang from your wheel or stash in your spinning bag to check WPI as you spin.

To calculate WPI wrap your yarn or single comfortably between the 0 and 2 (not loose, not tight). Divide the number of wraps by 2 to calculate WPI.

Handy line guides for the thickness of fingering, sport, DK, Worsted and Bulky weight yarns is also included.

This WPI tool is made from 1/4″ Hardwood Plywood or 1/8″ Clear Cast Acrylic.
