Description
Schacht weaving swords are designed for Navajo weaving and lend themselves well to other simple tapestry and backstrap looms.
Wider then a pick up stick, with a beveled edge on long side that can be used to press the weft into place. This allows for a wider shed to get facilitate the hand manipulations of weaving techniques like tapestry and rug weaving.
Rounded on one end, pointed on the other for easy pick up. 1/4″ thick on the back side of the sword, and tapers to a thin edge on the front side.
Available in 20″, 25″ and 30″. 1.75″ wide.
