Description
Schacht warping pegs allow you to warp your loom without a mill or warping board!
The Regular: Want to warp up your loom, but don’t have a warping board, or the space for one? This set of warping pegs clamps to a table or counter; the single shaped peg placed at one end of the warp length and the pair of pegs placed at the other end, spread as far apart as the warp is long. Use the pair of pegs to make the “cross” in your warp, to keep the threads in order.
Or, use the single peg for the direct warping method. Comes with two clamps. Updated style has holes in both warp pegs to allow for clamping with the included clamps.
The Single Peg with Clamp clamps to the table opposite your Rigid Heddle Loom and is used for the direct warping method, where you do the warping in one step (instead of winding and measuring it, and then putting it on the loom). This method is demonstrated in the video below, with a Schacht Cricket Loom.
