Description

The Louet Victoria Spinning Wheel is a very versatile wheel. It folds for travel or storage – and there is an optional carry case available for extra protection! The standard ratios are higher than those of the first generation Louet wheels, which makes it easier to spin very fine yarns. An orifice insert is included, so you can reduce the orifice from 1/2″ to 5/16″. This reduces vibration and draw-in while spinning extra fine.

The Victoria wheel has scotch tension. It is a single belt, flyer drive wheel with an adjustable bobbin brake to regulate the tension. This is a different flyer and brake system than the first generation Louet wheels, and allows for greater fine-tuning of the draw-in for spinning fine, high-twist yarns.

The double treadle Victoria wheel folds down to 5-1/2″ x 14-1/4″ x 21-3/4″.

The Victoria is available in a lacquered beech (S95) or a lacquered oak version (S96).
