Description
Sea Island Cotton is an extra long staple carded cotton sliver was grown from “Sea Island” seeds, but grown here in the fertile Gila Valley of Arizona, rather than in the West Indies.
This carded cotton is soft, creamy white and very very easy to spin because of the long staple. A great first cotton fiber for the first time spinner, and experienced cotton spinners will appreciate the high quality of this spinning fiber.
Cotton silver has a definite direction that makes spinning easier, while the opposite end creates more slubs. If you are having difficulty spinning smoothly try the other end.
Also can be used for spun cotton ornaments, batting, and other crafts. The preferred cotton texture for vaping wicks.
Sold by the 4 oz bag.
