New from Ashford, this prettily packaged Introduction to Spinning Kit includes gets you all the things you need to try your hand at spinning, or pass the joy along to a friend!

The kit includes:

A pair of Small Handcarders with 72 PPSI carding cloth. This refers to how close the teeth of the carder are to each other. The 72 psi is great for medium to fine wools, llama and blending. The carders measure about 7.2″ wide and 3.2″ deep (without the handle)

One Student Drop Spindle, this is a top whorl spindle with a hook on the top, a notch on the side (to hold your thread in place, a feature we highly recommend for beginners and advance spinning alike!) that weights about 2oz.

Introduction to Spinning Booklet – includes carding, spinning and plying instructions

Over 5 ounces in total of Corriedale, Merino, dyed English Leicester locks, Silk and Angelina. This allows you to try your hand at spinning several fibers, and using the handcards to blend things like silk and Angelina into your fiber.
