Description

The Ashford Second Back Beam Kit makes it possible to have two different tensions on your warp. This is invaluable for weaving fabric that has two setts – such as seersucker, doubleweave pleats, or turned overshot. You can weave a less dense area of warp next to a dense area of warp, or layers with two different densities. These options open a wide range of possibilities, and save you from the headache of warps that become more and more disparate as the weaving progresses. Gain control and sanity in your weaving with a second back beam kit.

Ashford Second Back Beam Kit Specifications:

Available in three widths, to correspond to the Ashford Table Loom and Ashford 16 Shaft Table Loom widths. Choose from 16″, 24″, or 32″ widths.

Silver beech hardwood. Clear lacquer finish. Made in New Zealand by Ashford Handicrafts.
