Description

Ashford Scotch Tension Knob. Replacement part for Ashford Traditional, Elizabeth, Traveler and Kiwi Wheel

This full kit includes either a new style knob or old style knob, brake line, 2 springs and the cup and eye hooks to completely overhaul your scotch tension set up.

On the older Ashford wheels the knob is a wooden ball with a dowel inserted. When we say “older” we are talking like the 70’s here. So your wheel can be 50 years old, and still use the “new” style knob.

Please pick the right knob for your wheel. If the hole on your mother of all is 1/2″, you need the new knob. If it is closer to 3/8″, then you need the old knob.

New Style Scotch Tension Knob

Please note, the current new knob has the decorative turnings around the knob.

Some older styles of wheels only use 1 of the springs, but it doesn’t hurt to have a spare around.
