Description

These Ashford SampleIt reeds for the 10 inch SampleIt rigid heddle looms from Ashford.

The number of the dent refers to how many warp threads per inch the reed will hold.

The 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 dpi reeds have wide eyes, which work great for novelty yarns. The 12.5 dpi and the NEW extra fine 15 dpi reeds are also available, with finer eyes. Weavers will be pleased to have the option to weave with finer yarns (the 15 dpi reed is great for 5/2 cotton) and by using double reeds, you can now get setts up to 30 end per inch!

If you are looking for the 16″ SampleIt reeds, they are the same as the Ashford 16″ Rigid Heddle Loom Reeds.

These reeds are made from strong, durable nylon, set between Silver Beech hardwood rails.
