Description

These bobbins are made especially for use with the Ashford sliding hook flyers. Ashford Sliding Hook Flyer Bobbins hold up to 30% more yarn (than the standard Ashford bobbins) due to larger 3.5 inch ends. These bobbins are now supplied as standard with single and double drive sliding hook flyer kits.

Choose between single or double drive, unfinished or clear finish.

Note: Single drive in clear finish is standard for the Joy 2 spinning wheels.  These bobbins will not fold into the storage cutaways on the older style Joy spinning wheels.

Made of Silver Beech hardwood in New Zealand, by Ashford Handicrafts.

    What’s better then a spinning oil bottle? A choice between 3 spinning wheel oil bottles! We offer the Schacht Precision, the Ashford, or the Kromski bottles. You can’t go wrong with any of them. The Kromski does have the longest nozzle, but the Schacht bottle is a little sturdier. It really comes down to personal preference though.
