How cool is this Angle of Twist Gauge! No more guessing, just use the info printed on this clear acrylic gauge to see if you’re spinning S or Z and what your angle of twist is. Help keep your yarn consistent from skein to skein, spin to match the exact specifications you are going for, or just learn more about what angle produces the ideal yarn for your needs.

To use, just take your single and ply it against itself, then hold the it up to the angle of twist gauge to see what angle of twist your finished yarn will have. If it’s not the angle you want, add or subtract twist from your singles as you spin.

Also use to make sure you are plying your yarn to a consistent angle of twist from beginning to end, or when you take a break from the project and come back.
