Materials: Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in red and black, small amount of polyester fiberfill or wool, 2 10mm wiggly eyes, magnet, fabric/gem tack glue, crochet hook to give YOU the gauge below.
Gauge: 4 sc = 1″ and 4 rnds = 1″
Body:
With black yarn, ch 2, six sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join to beg of rnd with a sl st. [6 sc]
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around. Join with a sl st to beg of rnd. [12 sc]
Rnd 3: Join red yarn, sc in each sc around, THROUGH THE BACK LOOPS. Join to beg of rnd with a sl st.
Rnd 4: Sc in each st around. Join with a sl st to beg of rnd.
Rnd 5: Sc 2 tog around. [6 sc] Join to beg of rnd with a sl st. Finish off. Cut yarn, leaving an 8″ tail.
Stuff body, then run 8″ tail of yarn through sc around opening, and pull tight to close. Hide end of yarn in body.
Head:
With black yarn, ch 2. 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join, but sc in next 2 sc. Finish off. Cut yarn, leaving a 20″ tail.
Sew head to body with the 20″ tail. Then use remainder of tail to embroider body as shown in picture above. Hide end of tail in body.
Glue wiggly eyes to head and let dry.
Glue magnet to bottom of body.
